MicroTEE The new microTEE on the iE33 system is providing pediatric cardiologists with critical information to help diagnose and treat tiny patients. Up until now, TEE could not be performed on many of these small patients. Now surgeons and interventionalists can obtain important cardiac function information pre- and post-surgery as well as during interventional procedures. The microTEE supports 2D, Doppler, color flow, harmonic imaging, M-mode, and 2D analysis, providing a critical tool for the care of tiny, sick patients. The microTEE joins the Live 3D TEE for children and adults, as well as the MiniMultiplane TEE for infants.
